Perinatal Loss
The Rose Garden Program
Program Overview
The loss of a baby changes you forever. Whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, termination for medical reasons, or another form of perinatal loss, grief can feel overwhelming, isolating and difficult for others to fully understand.
The Rose Garden program is a psychologist-led, trauma-informed support group created especially for mothers navigating the profound journey of perinatal loss. In a safe, compassionate and nurturing environment, you’ll be supported to honour your baby’s memory, explore your grief at your own pace, and connect with other women who truly understand the complexities of losing a baby.
Throughout the program you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Feel understood, supported and less alone
- Connect with other mothers who have experienced perinatal loss
- Learn gentle, evidence-based strategies to navigate grief
- Build self-compassion and emotional resilience
- Honour your baby’s memory while finding hope alongside grief
- Gain support through anniversaries, future pregnancies and life’s ongoing transitions
We believe grief is not something to “move on” from, it’s something we learn to carry with love. Through compassionate guidance, shared understanding and evidence-based therapeutic support, the program provides a space where your grief is welcomed, your baby’s life is honoured, and healing can unfold in its own time.
Delivered in a small, professionally facilitated group, the program offers a safe, compassionate space where mothers can connect with others who truly understand the experience of losing a baby. Many women find comfort in knowing they are not alone and in sharing their journey with others who understand the unique emotional, physical and psychological impact of perinatal loss. You’ll be invited to participate at a pace that feels right for you, with no expectation to share more than you feel comfortable. Every mother’s story, every baby’s life, and every grief journey is honoured with care and respect.
For women requiring additional support, this group program can be complemented with individual therapy as part of our personalised, collaborative approach to care. Where appropriate, we work alongside your GP, obstetrician, psychiatrist and other healthcare providers to ensure your support is coordinated and tailored to your individual needs.
Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, this program offers a place where your baby’s story is remembered, your grief is understood, and you are gently supported by professionals and other mothers who truly understand. Because every baby deserves to be remembered, every mother’s grief deserves to be witnessed, and no woman should have to walk this journey alone.

Meet the Facilitators
Our programs are facilitated by a carefully selected team of psychologists and allied health professionals who bring both clinical expertise and genuine warmth to every session. Each facilitator has been chosen for their specialist experience in the areas they teach whether that's perinatal mental health, relationship dynamics, anxiety, or nervous system regulation and shares our belief that effective therapy should feel safe, human, and grounded in real life. You won't find a one-size-fits-all approach here. What you will find is a room full of people who truly get it.
