About Us
Wild Rose Wellness & Psychology was created with a vision of providing compassionate, evidence-based and holistic care for those who are navigating some of life’s most significant transitions.
Our Approach to Wellbeing
With a special interest in perinatal and postnatal mental health, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, grief, trauma and early parenthood, our practice was founded on the belief that no individual or family should feel alone, unsupported or unseen during vulnerable periods of their lives.
At Wild Rose Wellness, we recognise that emotional wellbeing extends beyond the mind alone. Our approach integrates evidence-based psychological care with a broader understanding of the connection between mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Through individual therapy, psychology-led group programs and collaborative holistic care, we aim to support the whole person, mind, body and spirit.
Our practice brings together experienced psychologists, allied health professionals and wellness practitioners who share a common commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed and person-centred care. We believe healing can occur not only through individual therapy, but also through connection, education, community and shared experiences.
Wild Rose Wellness was thoughtfully designed to create a calm, nurturing and inclusive environment where individuals, couples and families can access both psychological support and complementary wellness services in one connected space.
Whether you are navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, fertility challenges, grief, relationship changes, identity transitions or emotional overwhelm, our goal is to provide care that is warm, collaborative and deeply supportive throughout every stage of your life

Our Director & Founder Kelly Count, Clinical Psychologist
Kelly Count is a highly experienced and respected Clinical Psychologist and leader in perinatal mental health care. With a passion for supporting women and families during pregnancy, postpartum, and challenging life transitions, Kelly has built a strong reputation for compassionate, evidence-based practice.
Throughout her career, Kelly has been a trusted provider in women’s mental health, supporting individuals through anxiety, trauma, adjustment, parenting challenges, and the emotional complexities that arise during pregnancy and early parenthood. Her work has consistently emphasised person-centred care, psychological resilience, and holistic wellbeing.
Kelly is also an accredited inpatient provider at St John of God Hospital, where she is called upon to provide urgent, same-day psychological support to parents and hospital staff following the stillbirth of a baby or the death of a newborn shortly after delivery. This role reflects the high level of trust placed in her clinical expertise and her ability to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care during profoundly distressing and critical moments.
Kelly’s work within the hospital system has given her deep insight into the immediate and longer-term psychological needs of bereaved parents, and the importance of timely, specialised intervention.
Through her own practice, Count Psychology, Kelly is deeply aware of the emotional cost of long wait lists and treatment delays, especially for those navigating profound life experiences such as pregnancy loss, perinatal anxiety, body image distress, and the transition to parenthood.
Kelly recognised that during these critical periods, when individuals and families are facing uncertainty, grief, or loss, delayed access to support can significantly worsen outcomes. In response, Kelly has created Wild Rose Wellness & Psychology, a beautiful group space and with adjoining consulting rooms enabling her to:
Kelly has personally selected the team of practitioners that work alongside her at Wild Rose Wellness. With each practitioner bringing a wealth of experience and their own area of interest. Kelly provides on going supervision and support to her team on a regular basis.
Kelly’s leadership is grounded in evidence-based practice and trauma-informed care. Under her direction, Wild Rose Wellness is designed to not just treat symptoms but to foster community, resilience, and comprehensive emotional wellbeing. Her vision is to ensure no parent feels alone, unheard, or unsupported at one of the most vulnerable times in their life.
